St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church celebrated St. Joseph’s Day with its first St. Joseph’s Altar. The cookies, bread, cakes and other food items were made by members of the church community. A large number of volunteers contributed their time and talent to this marvelous event. All of the students from the school as well as many members of the community visited the altar where they heard a presentation on St. Joseph and the altar and received a bag containing a sampling of cookies, a St. Joseph medal and prayer card and a faba bean. All visitors were welcomed to write a petition and leave it on the altar asking for St. Joseph’s intercession.
