St. John the Baptist Parish resident Terry “G Man” Strayer was recently recognized for 35 years of service to the St. John Sheriff’s Office and St. John Theatre by Judge Sterling Snowdy. Strayer regularly worked traffic details during special events at the theater and throughout the parish. Strayer said he could not have done it without the support of his stepmother, Mary Scurlock.
