Temporary medical facility open

A temporary medical facility for routine walk in visits has been established in the Medical Office Building in front of River Parishes Hospital in LaPlace at 500 Rue de Sante Blvd.
The facility will be available for prescription refills and minor medical conditions not requiring ER visit. No major medical issues will be treated at this facility.
Hours of Operation:
Saturday to Sunday 9:00am – 5:00 pm.
In addition, a mental health counseling center is opening at New Wine Christian Fellowship for those who require assistance. New Wine is located at 1929 West Airline Hwy in LaPlace.
Do not go to River Parishes Hospital at this time. The hospital is currently closed. An official announcement of the re-opening will come at a later time.
