As schools throughout the state begin to prepare for a new set of reforms in the classroom, teachers throughout the area have been engaging in seminars to help familiarize them with new methods. On Tuesday, Leigh Ann Beard, director of Human Resources for the St. John the Baptist Parish School System, led a training session for teachers throughout the parish on the components of the new Compass educator evaluation system.
