Lanard Joseph Robinet, 75, passed away Sunday, Jan. 22, 2012, at his home in LaPlace.

He was the son of the late Thelma Booker and Theophile L. Robinet, beloved husband of Murle Robinet of 51 years, father of Antionette Robinet and Monica Robinet Joseph (Felix III) of LaPlace, Bernadette Robinet Pickett (Juan) of Houma, Medria Robinet Gauff (Errol) of Hammond and Jacinta Robinet Bell (David) of Luling, brother of McLouis Robinet (Harriette) of Oak Park, Ill., and grandfather of Felix C. Joseph IV, Jessica Whitney Pickett, Hailey Elizabeth Gauff and David “Jake” Bell. He is also survived by a host of brothers- and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was a native of Reserve and resident of LaPlace.

Visitation and services were held at St Joan of Arc Catholic Church in LaPlace on Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012. Interment followed at St. Peter Cemetery in Reserve.
