East St. John Elementary has started the year off on a positive foot. Students that follow the school’s expectations to Be Safe, Be Respectful, Be Responsible and Follow School Rules, were nominated as the Best of the Bobcats from the month of August. The Best of the Bobcats for August are (front row, left to right) pre-school students Avery Belvin, Na’Jae Kimble and Davien Fobb, lindergarten students Koyal Gray, Romell Pack and Amari Tassin; (second row, left to right) first-graders Warren Garrett, Adrianis Quinones and Aysia Brown, second-graders Ashton Barrow, Robert Chambliss, Myrielle Green and Anajae Butler; (third row, left to right) third-graders Amahre Johnson, Corin Taylor and Dalneka Young, fourth-graders A’kyri Paulding, Amariah Smothers and Shawn Dumas, fifth-graders Aundreuz Ridgel, Sai’jah Leboeuf and Devanshi Mistry; (fourth row, left to right) sixth-graders Erineka Anderson, Nhi Tran, Jenise Muse and Kayla Pierre, seventh-graders Ajaze Bullock, Roy Washington and Kayon Johnson, eighth-graders Breiara Ford, Peaches Burns and Dwayne Barabin; and along with Principal Jerry “Texx” Galloway (back).
