The speaker of the month for November for WSJH Journey to Careers class was School Nurse, Melissa Louque, RN, BSN. Louque talked about her career as a registered nurse. The students enjoyed hearing of her experiences as a nurse and the path of her career. Louque discussed the importance of getting focused and becoming exceptional students in areas of math, science and english. Students were also enlightened to the process of getting accepted into nursing school.

In the Journey to Careers class, students participate in career exploration activities, they access and use different types of career information, and they explore the variety of postsecondary options available.
