New Sarpy Elementary School recently celebrated Multi-Cultural Week. Students and teachers dressed in native costumes and various guest speakers shared information with students. Every day a different country, continent or region was highlighted. Monday was Central America, Tuesday was Ireland, Wednesday was Africa, Thursday was China, and Friday was France. Playing African drums during an all-school assembly are (left to right) Jacob Bartley, Devin Washington, Miracle Adams, Sydney Carter, Aaliyah Robinson, Alex Taunton and Troy Dozier.
