Waterford III — Entergy Nuclear provides grant

Carl Rhode along with several representatives from Waterford III – Entergy Nuclear visited the Satellite Center to present a check for $25,000 to purchase industry approved equipment for the Computer Electronics and Electronics programs offered at Destrehan High School and the Engineering Design and the Process Technology programs offered at the Satellite Center. Waterford III – Entergy Nuclear is committed to supporting career and technical programs which are preparing students for the workforce and post secondary education. Examples of the equipment which will be purchased are: CompTia A+ certification study guides and practice exams, Robix robotic arm system, Mega UK rotary spray etcher, heat exchange trainer, acrylic vacuum trainer, and graphing calculators.
