Fellomae Burke Bailey of Edgard, a retired cafeteria manager for St. John Parish School System for over 30 years, departed this life on Friday, Jan. 30, 2009, at River Parishes Hospital. Age 76 years. Beloved wife of Clifford Bailey Sr. Daughter of the late Irvin and Viola Louper Burke. Mother of Cindy Bailey Thomas (Byron), Clifford Jr. (Lindy), Kevin (Jo-Ann), and Darren (April) Bailey Sr. of Edgard and Anthony (Cassandra) Bailey of Vacherie. Sister of Steven Burke, Morgan Burke Sr., Laura Burke and Ethel Burke. Also survived by 20 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Services were held on Thursday, Feb. 5, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Edgard. Entombment in church mausoleum.
