Top-seeded Green Wave to open up CWS today at 1p.m.

ESPN, ESPN2 to cover all games, fans traveling to Omaha can listen to home Green Wave broadcats on radio

NEW ORLEANS – As the top-ranked Tulane baseball team opens play in the 2005 College World Series, fans nationwide can follow the Green Wave’s quest for the national title beginning at 1p.m. Saturday against Oregon State on ESPN or over the radio on WRBH 88.3 FM.

Regardless of the outcome of Saturday’s game, the Green Wave’s second game on Monday will be televised on ESPN at either 1 p.m. or 6 p.m. All 2005 College World Series games will be aired on either ESPN or ESPN 2. In addition to nationwide television broadcasts, each of Tulane’s games will be available on WRBH, 88.3 and at no cost over the internet at www.TulaneGreenWave.com. Saturday afternoon’s contest can also be heard on WTIX 690 AM.

Fans traveling to Omaha and bringing portable radios to the game can catch their team’s broadcast through the CWS Radio service. For the second consecutive year, the NCAA will provide the service which allows fans to listen the radio calls of either the home team radio network, away team radio network, ESPN TV feed or NCAA Radio Network on various FM frequencies.
