Prime Time Sports Summer Hoops Tour series of basketball tournaments offers quality competition for boys and girls, grades 4 through 12. Summer tournament dates and locations in Louisiana are as follows: June 10-12 New Orleans; June 24-26 Shreveport. Entry fee is $295 per tournament, with a five-game guarantee. FOOTBALL CLINICS OFFERED AT NICHOLLS
THIBODAUX-High school football players interested in developing their offensive skills can receive instruction from Colonels coaching staff in the quarterback and wide receiver developmental clinics scheduled during June at Nicholls State University.
The clinics will include intense, personalized instruction from H.T. Kinney, Colonels offensive coordinator and quarterback coach. Players entering ninth through 12th grades are eligible to enroll.
Clinics will be held at the Nicholls football practice fields. Monday through Friday sessions are scheduled from 5 to 6 p.m. on June 6 to 10, and again June 13 to 17. A Saturday session is schedule 8 to 10 a.m. on June 18. The cost to enroll is $99 for each of the five-day clinics or $35 for the Saturday clinic.

DIG-IT VOLLEYBALL CAMP SET
The annual Dig-It Volleyball camp is set for July 26-30 at the St. Joan of Arc Gym in LaPlace for girls entering grades 5-8. Times are 9 a.m.-noon every day. Registration is $50 if received by June 28 and $60 up to July 13. Each girl will receive a camp T-shirt and souvenir volleyball. Girls are required to bring their own water bottle, knee pads and a camp volleyball every day. COMETS DOUBLE-DIAMOND CLASSIC SET
The St. Charles Catholic Double Diamond Classic is set for June 24-26. Available to all boys ages 7-14, the tournament will be held at Larayo Ballpark in LaPlace. Entry fee for 7-8 year-olds is $125 with all other age groups $150. All teams are guaranteed three games. A Home Run Derby and championship awards will be included. COMETS FOOTBALL CAMP SET
The St. Charles Catholic 2005 Youth Football Camp is set for July 18-21. Camp runs from 8:30-11:30 daily for ages 7-13. Cost is $50. Camp includes instruction at all positions, pro demonstrations, weight training, camp t-shirt, highlight films, “Iron Boy” contest, touch football games, skill tests, races and punt pass and kick contest. STARSTEPPER MINI-CAMP SET
The St. Charles Catholic 2005 Starstepper Mini-Camp is set for June 20-24. Camp runs from 9 a.m.-noon daily. Cost is $35 which includes a dance camp, t-shirt and refreshments. Please make checks payable to SCC Starsteppers. The campers will learn a jazz, kick, prop and character dance throughout the week. Parents are invited to watch the campers perform their dances on Friday, June 24th, at 10:30 a.m. Please return applications to SCC High School Office or bring it with you on June 20th, the first day of camp. HEAT YOUTH ORGANIZATION
Football registration for the Heat Youth Organization is set for the 2005 football season. For ages 6-12. Registration is set for June 20-24 and July 11-15 at Regala Park from 5:30-7:30. CAR SHOW SET FOR SATURDAY
An open car show is set for Saturday, June 18 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. on the grounds of the San Francisco Plantation at 2646 River Road in Garyville. All makes, models and years welcome of cars, trucks, motorcycles, antiques, hot rods and late models. Top 25 Awards will be given for Best Engine, Best Paint, Best Interior, Best Bike and Best of Show. Judging begins at noon.
