RESERVE-It may not be happening as quick as fans want, but a baseball program is beginning to be built at Reserve Christian School.
Despite a 2-8 record and coming off of a 21-1 loss against Houma Christian, Reserve Head Coach Matt Keller said he can see signs that his program is beginning.
“One of the biggest positives out of this year is that we are taking games to seven innings,” Keller said. “Last year, we didn’t go seven innings in any game and this year we have won our first two games in the past two years. We are looking forward to competing these last couple of games of the season and maybe coming away with some wins.
“Next year we are moving down to Class C, and we are returning three eighth grade starters and some former basketball players will join our team and that will help.”
