The state champion Reserve Christian School Eagles was honored at the Sunday church service for winning their third state title in four years. Pastor Rod Aguillard and Head Coach Tim Byrd both talked to the audience about the pride they had in the team, not just for their talent on the court, but more importantly, for the character the team showed off the court. “It has taken me 42 years to know what success really means,” Byrd said. “God’s word says ‘success’ really comes from having a servant’s heart and I think these kids have exemplified that.”
