LAPLACE-They might not have won all their games this week, but St. Charles Catholic didn’t lose any either.
Strange week.
Standing 5-4-1 on the season, the Comets tied Shaw 9-9 on Tuesday afternoon and defeated Riverside on the road 6-5 for the second time this season heading into their games this weekend at the Riverside tournament.
With basketball season now over for St. Charles Catholic, the Comets will be at full strength as they prepare for district 10-3A play which soon.
St. Charles Catholic will play a pair of teams this weekend to conclude tourney play. The Comets will take on Ridgewood prep and Ceclia today beginning at 11:00 am with the second game scheduled to start at 1:15 p.m. All games are being played at Riverside Academy’s field.
