HANNAN-Through the first part of the 2005 season, Paul Waguespack’s Comets have struggled tremendously.
St. Charles Catholic lost a pair of games over the weekend in a tournament in Hannan.
The Comets were defeated by the host school 10-1 and also dropped a 9-3 contest against perennial powerhouse John Curtis.
St. Charles Catholic will look to get back on the winning track this week as they have three games. The Comets took on Shaw yesterday and welcome Amite to Comet Field this afternoon before taking part in the Riverside tournament this weekend.
Cecilia will be the opening round game in the tourney for the Comets.
