Zimmer, Millet, St. Amant, Oubre 5-2A all-district volleyball picks

RESERVE – A fine season for the Riverside Lady Rebel volleyball team was reflected on the district 5-2A all-league coaches team, recently released by the district.
Three seniors who led the team to the playoffs again this year were named first-team selections.
Daphne Zimmer, who led the team in district with 21 aces, 81 digs and 20 assists, was named to the all-league first squad, along with seniors Kelli Millet and Jenna St. Amant.
Millet had a great all-around district season with 44 digs, 20 kills and 13 assists, while St. Amant was just as potent for the Rebs, topping the team with 26 kills and 10 saves, while also picking up 44 digs and 14 assists.
Junior Erica Oubre was named an all-district second teamer, as she led the team with five blocks, while also turning in strong all around play in district with 46 digs, 21 kills, seven aces and 13 assists.
