LAPLACE- A 53-year-old LaPlace man was recently arrested for child pornography after special agents downloaded pornographic images of adolescents from his computer, said Attorney General Public Information Officer Jennifer Cluck.
John Farrell of 2817 Cambridge Drive was charged with one count of pornography involving juveniles.
According to Cluck, Farrall was issued a search warrant and his computer was analyzed by The United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement Office located in New Orleans.
“Computer images of children were downloaded from Farrall’s computer,” said Cluck. She said Farrall was then arrested by two agents working with the High Tech Crime Unit.
The St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff’s Office assisted with the 3:15 p.m. arrest. Cluck works for Attorney General Charles Foti.
