HAHNVILLE – St. Charles Parish Civil Service recently honored James Walton Jr. as their outstanding employee of the year during their 22nd annual awards banquet.

Guest speaker was Melvin Pelala, State Loss Prevention Officer, joined by Parish President Albert Laque. A special award was also presented to Todd Champagne for rescuing a Boe Brothers contractor from a collapsed hole while replacing a line.
