MT. AIRY – A vehicle hit a train Friday when a motorist’s foot came off the brake while driving 25 miles per hour.

Terrell Joseph said he was going home Friday when the 1 p.m. incident occurred on the Canadian National Railroad at Daffodil Street.

The 20-year-old male hit the third hopper of the train as it was traveling westbound. He was cited with failure to yield at a railroad crossing.
