Riverside Academy will hold it’s 2004 Carnival Ball this Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday

Riverside Academy proudly announces its 2004 Carnival Ball Royalty. Serving as Junior King Rebel XXV is Connor Matthew Roussel, son of Kevin and Kerri Roussel of Reserve. Junior Queen Dixie XXV is Chelsey Marie Stein, daughter of Jody and Melanie Stein of Reserve. Serving as Prince is Caleb Hutchinson and Princess is Darian Marse. Dukes and maids of the court are Grant Gillory and Katie Rylee; Kaleb Bush and Kelsi Roussel.
Serving as monarch of the Senior Court are Senior King Rebel XXIV Nicholas Anthony Falgoust, son of Nick and Vicki Falgoust of Vacherie, and Senior Queen Dixie XXIV Sally Marie Songy, daughter of Raphael and Janet Songy of LaPlace. Serving as Prince is Timothy “T. J.” Cancienne and Princess Lauren LeBlanc. Dukes and maids of the court are Jodi Reulet and Stephanie Reher; Walter Barado and Kara Keller; Mohammad Ahmad and Subah Ahmad; Cody LeBlanc and Ashley Cella; Anthony Trosclair and Alicia Ocmond; Troy LeBlanc and Megan Warner; Wade Cancienne and Amber Champagne; Trey Ledbetter and Katherine Songy.
Together the courts raised $87,529.82, which is a record for this project. According to Chris Jones, Carnival Ball Chairman, “After being hit by a tornado in June, the families of Riverside and the community pulled together in an enormous effort to support the school. Our rebuilding effort will be a success thanks to the dedication and hard work of a lot of people.”
