On March 7, Jaci Rene Remondet was crowned the Ponchatoula Strawberry Festival Queen in the girls 18-23 month old category. She competed against 19 other beautiful contestants for the crown and also emerged with the award for “Prettiest Hair.” Jaci Rene is the 21-month old daughter of Denny and Jamie Remondet of Reserve, LA.

The pageant, an integral part of the annual Ponchatoula Strawberry Festival, was held at the Ponchatoula Community Center in Tangipahoa Parish. The festival is held annually during the first weekend in April.

Along with the crown and trophy awarded to Jaci, she has been invited and will ride in the Strawberry Festival parade held on April 3.
