LAPLACE – St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff Wayne L. Jones reported the following recent arrests:

• Curtis Marshall, 41, 132 Little Hope St., Garyville, simple battery and domestic violence.

• Joel Mathews, 50, LaPlace, criminal trespass.

• Ashley M. Edler, 24, 2161 Colonial Drive, LaPlace, DWI and reckless operation of a motor vehicle.

• Elmo Cook Jr., 33, 252 Homewood Place, Reserve, DWI, resisting an officer by violence, careless operation of a motor vehicle, driving under suspension and speeding.

• Darnell Howard, 35, 2704 Yorktown Drive, LaPlace, DWI second offense, speeding and improper lane usage.

• Steven Richard Siphers, 32, 246 McReine Road, LaPlace, shoplifting theft of items valued at more than $500.

• Ernest Williams Jr., 45, 3004 Essex Ave., LaPlace, disturbing the peace by being intoxicated.

• Lonnie L. Henderson, 34, 215 Bonnie St., Norco, DWI and speeding.

• Bruce C. Trosclair Jr., 23, 130 E. 15th St., Reserve, simple battery and disturbing the peace by fighting.

• Derrick Zeno, 20, 162 Joe Parquet Circle, LaPlace, DWI second offense, hit-and-run driving, careless operation of a motor vehicle, no driver’s license, aggravated assault, resisting an officer by refusing ID and resisting an officer by violence.

• Cheryl Marie Placide, 35, 290 E. 14th St., Reserve, simple battery and domestic violence.

• Thomas F. Donovan, 26, 10795 Mead Road, Baton Rouge, DWI second offense and reckless operation of a motor vehicle.

• Lettie Marion Granger, 33, 304 Catalpa Drive, LaPlace, no turn signals, no seat belt use, concealed license plate and no updated address on license.

• Percy Johnson Jr., 45, 343 Pine St., LaPlace, disturbing the peace by being intoxicated.

• Monica Cornett, 19, 5433 Springwater Drive, LaPlace, disturbing the peace by being intoxicated and simple battery.

• Charles Joseph Jr., 20, 280 E. 13th St., Reserve, simple battery, resisting an officer by flight and domestic violence.

• Jake M. Heckathorn, 20, 139 Villa St., LaPlace, disturbing the peace by cursing, resisting an officer by violence and contempt of court.

• Durrell Daigre, 35, 157 Sherman Walker St., Garyville, remaining in places after being forbidden, resisting an officer by violence and simple assault.

CONVENT – St. James Parish Sheriff Willy Martin Jr. reported 246 complaints during the week of April 28-May 4. Martin also reported the following arrests:

• Tonta Octave, 24, 3202 Domino St., Vacherie, bench warrant for non-support and two counts being a fugitive from another agency.

• Nancy Rufini, 52, 6167 River Road, Vacherie, DWI and illegal entry onto public road.

• Darry Raven, 39, 514 W. Fifth St., Donaldsonville, driving under suspension, no auto liability insurance and switched plates.

• Takia Martin, 20, 2456 N. Courseault St., Lutcher, careless operation of a motor vehicle, hit-and-run driving, expired brake tag, no auto liability insurance and unauthorized use of a movable.

• Robert Michel II, 28, 8008 Bluebonnet Blvd., Baton Rouge, DWI third offense, driving under suspension, disregarding traffic control signs.

• Kaiana Schnyder, 20, 1813 Cambridge Drive, LaPlace, disturbing the peace, criminal damage to property, criminal trespass and second-degree battery.

• Tiffany Padgett Varnell, 35, 7085 River Road, St. James, simple battery of the infirm, simple battery and criminal damage to property.

• Alvis Baham, 32, 83706 Holliday Road, Folsom, switched plates, failure to register a vehicle, attempted theft, no auto liability insurance, criminal trespass, flight from an officer, resisting an officer, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, possession of marijuana, no taillights, illegal display of license plate, battery of a police officer and driving under suspension.

• Rodrick Hayes, 19, 229 S. Airline Drive, Gramercy, criminal damage to property, bench warrant and three counts aggravated assault.

• Derrell Washington Sr., 23, 8127 Woods St., St. James, simple battery, disturbing the peace and being a fugitive from another agency.

• Bernadette Johnson, 26, 2506 N. Courseault St., Lutcher, bench warrants and issuing worthless checks.

• Kenneth White Jr., 24, 2487 W. LeBray St., Lutcher, possession of drug paraphernalia, no seat belt use, improper equipment, speeding and possession of marijuana second offense.

• Shawn Williams, 33, 4518 Danneel St., New Orleans, bench warrant for speeding, DWI, expired driver’s license and speeding.

• Kimberly Storks, 31, 2327 N. Central Ave., Lutcher, bench warrant, being a fugitive from another agency and five counts issuing worthless checks.
