HAHNVILLE – St. Charles Parish Sheriff Greg C. Champagne reported the following recent arrests and incidents:

Arrests

• Christopher Linder, 18, 106 Pine St., Des Allemands, distribution of Ecstasy.

• Cornell Toney, 35, 401 Pioneer Drive, Hahnville, possession of stolen property valued at more than $500.

• Lewis Anderson, 21, 328 River Oaks Drive, Destrehan, aggravated assault, simple battery and possession of marijuana.

• Dale Blocher III, 24, 171 Spruce St., Boutte, possession of cocaine.

• Aaron Barrett Brown, 29, 140 Hickory St., Boutte, possession of cocaine and possession of marijuana.

• Damien Wayne Blake, 21, 122-A Faith Place, Boutte, DWI third offense, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, driving under suspension and no vehicle registration.

• Jon Michael Higgenbotham, 25, 245 Murray Hill Drive, Destrehan, DWI, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, improper lane usage and disregarding a stop sign.

• Ryan Crochet, 20, 17450 Old Spanish Trail, Des Allemands, underage DWI and careless operation of a motor vehicle.

• Paula Lawrence, 36, 301 Barreca St., Norco, DWI, reckless operation of a motor vehicle and disregarding a stop sign.

Incidents

• Burglary of a residence in the 200 block of Fourth Street, St. Rose, where a cordless phone, leather jacket and four pairs of shoes, all valued at $650, were reported stolen.

• Burglary of a residence in the 13400 block of U.S. Highway 90, Boutte, where a model 12 shotgun, .38-caliber revolver and a VCR, all valued at $275, were reported stolen.

• Theft of a heart-shaped diamond pendant, gold rope chain and a pearl necklace, all valued at $500, from a residence in the 300 block of River Village Drive, Destrehan.

• Theft of a fax machine valued at $200 from a business in the 400 block of Louisiana Highway 3142, Taft.

• Theft of a senior ring, sapphire ring and an anniversary ring, all valued at $1,850, from a residence in the 100 block of Nedd Lane, Paradis.

• Theft of a clarinet valued at $200 from a location on Carriage Lane, Destrehan.

• Burglary of a residence in the 100 block of East Street, Norco, where a 25-inch television valued at $200 was reported stolen.

• Burglary of a business in the 200 block of Angus Drive, Luling, where a commercial refrigerator cooler and $175 were reported stolen.

• Burglary of a vehicle in the 13300 block of U.S. Highway 90, Boutte, where a payroll check and a Nextell cellular phone, no value given, were reported stolen.

• Burglary of a vehicle in the 100 block of Sheila Court, Luling, where a stereo amplifier, cellular phone, three subwoofers and $50 in cash, total value not given, were reported stolen.

LAPLACE – St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff Wayne L. Jones reported the following recent arrests:

• Seaborn Anthony Anderson, 37, 609 Atlantic Ave., New Orleans, theft of items valued at $500 or more, being a fugitive from another agency and parole violation.

• Melissa Marie Morgan, 23, 2616 Lexington St., LaPlace, contempt of court, being a fugitive from another agency, two counts of issuing worthless checks of more than $500, five counts of issuing worthless checks valued between $100 and $500 and seven counts of issuing worthless checks of less than $100.

• Troy A. Peranio, 38, 213 Central Ave., Reserve, resisting an officer by refusing to move on.

• Matthew Martin, 26, 2332 Yorktown Drive, LaPlace, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, driving under suspension, flight from an officer in a motor vehicle and being a fugitive from another agency.

• Belinda V. Bourgeois, 42, 304 Tania Ave., Gramercy, DWI, speeding and improper lane usage.

• Ernest Scott, 50, 1107 E. Ashland St., Gonzales, bench warrant.
