CATOIRE LAPLACE – Henry P. Catoire Sr., 90, a native and resident of Reserve, died March 1. He was the husband of the late Iola Cambre Catoire and father of Loe Ruiz, Dolly Crowell, H.P. Catoire Jr. and the late Billy Catoire. He was also the son of the late Rene and Elvire Chapaton Catoire and brother of May Kugler, Helen Delhommer, Louise Oubre, Lloyd Pershing, Elmore Catoire and the late Lucille Keller and Clarence Catoire. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Services are today at noon in the chapel of Millet-Guidry Funeral Home, LaPlace, with interment at St. Peter Cemetery, Reserve. Visitation starts at 10 a.m. COURVILLE LAPLACE – Shirley Belaire Courville, 61, a native of St. Martinville and resident of LaPlace for 20 years, died Feb. 28. She was the wife of Roland Courville and mother of Sable Bell, Louis, John and Clay Courville. She was also the daughter of the late Louis and Olive Belaire and sister of Mary Alice Champagne, Olive Latiolais and the late Ames Belaire. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Services were March 2 in the chapel of Millet-Guidry Funeral Home, LaPlace, with interment at St. Peter Cemetery, Reserve. FLORENT VACHERIE – Cecile “Mama” Florent, 73, a native of Ponchatoula and lifelong resident of Vacherie, died Feb. 24. She was the mother of Eva Melancon, Barbara Gibson, Dion Melancon and Julius Collins Sr. She was also the sister of Mildred Harris and Gloria Collins. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Services are today at noon at First Baptist Church, Vacherie, with interment at the church cemetery. Visitation starts at 9 a.m. GUILLOT NORCO – Bryan L. “Goose” Guillot Sr., 48, a native of Norco and resident of LaPlace, died Feb. 27. He was the husband of Catherine Trahan Guillot and father of Bryan Jr., Carl and Connie Guillot. He was also the son of Ulysses Guillot and the late Cecile Cambre Guillot and brother of Marie Ruberstall, Lois Ponville, Yulone Hebert, Jeanne Bates, Emilie Yokum and Carroll and Gary Guillot. He is also survived by three grandchildren. Services were March 2 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Norco, with interment at St. Charles Borromeo Mausoleum, Destrehan. HANNA ST. AMANT – Mary Anna “Pete” Hanna, 76, a native of Boutte and resident of St. Amant, died Feb. 25. She was the wife of the late John Hanna Sr. And mother of Mary Kay Brandon and John Jr., Phillip and the late Mark Hanna. She was also the daughter of Benjamin and Mary Cortez Perez and sister of Gretel Brock, Pearl Thibodeaux, Leroy and Robert Perez and the late Rita Thibodaux and Calice, Anatole and Rodney Perez. She is survived by nine grandchildren, five stepgrandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Services were Feb. 28 at New River Baptist Church, with interment in the church cemetery. JULIAN BRIDGE CITY – Hilda Gerard Julian, 78, a native of Lucy and resident of Bridge City, died Feb. 27. She was the wife of Alton Julian and mother of Linda Williams, Sandra Turner, Judy Russell and Elliot Julian. She was also the daughter of the late Arnold and Polemie Lebeouf Gerard and sister of Louise Legaux, Bernice Louper, Annabelle Weber and Joseph, Myrtle, Gladys and the late Warren and Claude Gerard. She is also survived by three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Services were March 2 at Holy Guardian Angels Catholic Church, Bridge City, with interment at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery, Edgard. KING RESERVE – Beulah Mae King, 77, a native of Reserve and resident of Garyville, died Feb. 27. She was the mother of Katherine Foster, Johnnie Taylor, Thomas Foster III and Edward, Manuel, Larry, David and the late Thelia Mae King. She was also the daughter of the late Sam and Thelia Taylor and sister of Leola Joseph. She is also survived by a host of grandchildren. Services are today at 11 a.m. at Greater New Plymouth Baptist Church, Reserve, with interment at Zion Travelers Cemetery, Lions. Visitation starts at 10 a.m. KING NEW ORLEANS – Liz King, 78, a native of Tupelo, Miss., and resident of New Orleans and LaPlace for 50 years, died Feb. 28. She was the wife of the late Larry King and mother of the late Daniel Chapman. She was also the daughter of the late Daniel and Mary Hankins and sister of Moreen Whitworth and J.C., Buddy, George, Daniel and the late Mitchell Hankins. She is also survived by five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Services were March 2 in the chapel of Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home, New Orleans, with interment at St. Vincent de Paul Mausoleum, New Orleans. KRUTZFELDT</font> LAPLACE – David C. Krutzfeldt, 60, a native of Iowa and resident of LaPlace for the past 28 years, died Feb. 25. He was the husband of Sharon Twomey Krutzfeldt and father of Paul and Matthew Krutzfeldt. He is also survived by five grandchildren. Services were March 1 in the chapel of Millet-Guidry Funeral Home, LaPlace, with interment at Council Bluffs, Iowa. LeBOEUF NEW ORLEANS – Robert Samuel LeBoeuf, 62, a native of St. James and resident of New Orleans, died Feb. 24. He was the husband of Barbara Quezaire LeBoeuf and father of Charmaine and Troy LeBoeuf. He was also the son of Murry and Leah Folse LeBoeuf and brother of Ella Harleaux, Donnaleah Carstarphen, Catherine Moore and Elmo, Larry and Albert LeBoeuf. He is also survived by two grandchildren. Services were March 2 at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, New Orleans, with interment at St. James Catholic Mausoleum, St. James. LOUSTEAU GRAMERCY – Bertha Rome Lousteau, 83, a native of Wallace, former resident of Romeville and resident of Gramercy and Lutcher, died Feb. 27. She was the wife of Lee Lousteau for 58 years and mother of Irene Poche. She was also the daughter of the late Roger and Irene Gaudot Rome and sister of Doris St. Pierre and the late Mae Stewart and Earl and Roger Rome Jr. She is also survived by two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Services were March 1 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Gramercy, with interment at St. Joseph Mausoleum, Paulina. RAUSCHENBACH RESERVE – Beulah Donaldson Rauschenbach, 89, a native of Reserve and resident of Shreveport for the past three years, died Feb. 25. She was the wife of the late Herbert “Dutch” Rauschenbach and the mother of William Rauschenbach. She was also the daughter of the late Henry and Denise Donaldson and sister of Edna Mae Jacob and Malcolm and the late Maurin Donaldson. She is also survived by four grandchildren. Services were Feb. 28 in the chapel of Millet-Guidry Funeral Home, LaPlace, with interment at St. Peter Cemetery, Reserve. WHITE DONALDSONVILLE – Ray Anthony White, 46, a native of Lutcher and resident of Donaldsonville, died Feb. 25. He was the husband of Sherry A. White and father of Darnelle Holland, Demond Daigre, DesKameko Davare and Kai, Rashonda and Jamaal White. He was also the son of Edward and Gloria White and brother of Shelia Jackson, Shantel and Kenneth White and the late Angel Love. He is also survived by two grandchildren. He was a licensed clinical social worker with a private practice. Services are today at 11 a.m. at St. Philip Baptist Church, Modeste, with interment at St. Joseph Mausoleum, Paulina. Visitation starts at 10 a.m. WILKING LAPLACE – Stephanie “Nikki” Wilking, 17, a native and resident of LaPlace, died Feb. 27. She was the daughter of Kevin and Paula Wilking and sister of Jason, Ashley and Kyle Wilking. She was also the granddaughter of George and Evelyn Wilking and Betty and Joe Duplessis and stepgranddaughter of Peggy Oldom. She was the founder of Kids for Kops while in fifth grade at Reserve Christian School, attended the 1997 National Law Enforcement Memorial Service honoring slain police officers in Washington, D.C., and earned the LaPlace Rotary Club’s 1997 Citizen of the Year award. She also found time to be active in basketball, softball, track, karate, dance, swimming and was a lifeguard at Riverlands Country Club. Services are today at 10 a.m. at Reserve Christian Church, Reserve, with interment at St. John Memorial Gardens, LaPlace. Visitation starts at 8 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations are welcome to “Kids for Kops” at Louisiana Federal Credit Union, LaPlace.
