Grinch spoils holidays for drug suspects

HAHNVILLE – “Operation Grinch,” the latest sweep of suspected drug dealers in St. Charles Parish, produced eight more arrests following the initial 10 arrests on Dec. 18. A total of 24 suspects were being sought, according to Capt. Patrick Yoes.The latest arrestees include:
Laura Madere, 28, 15407 Old Spanish Trail, Paradis, two counts illegal distribution of Hydrocodone.
Ray LeBlanc Jr., 38, 133 Dixie Drive, Des Allemands, illegal distribution of Hydrocodone.
Katheryn Jacobs, 71, 15407 Old Spanish Trail, Paradis, nine counts illegal distribution of Hydrocodone.
Larry Joe Jacobs, 47, 15407 Old Spanish Trail, Paradis, three counts illegal distribution of Hydrocodone.
Joseph D. Sylve Jr., 20, 304 Kennedy St., Ama, distribution of marijuana.
Donald Barne, 21, 400 Courthouse Lane, Hahnville, distribution of cocaine on pubic housing property.
Adrian Mitt, 17, 108 Jim’s Road, Boutte, two counts of false representation of crack cocaine.
Sheila Jacobs, 34, 800 Sugarhouse Road, Luling, possession of marijuana and illegal distribution of Hydrocodone.
Back on Dec. 18, sheriff’s investigators, joined by agents from the federal Drug Enforcement Agency, apprehended the following:
Deborah Lumar, 42, 1832 Paul Maillard Road, Luling, distribution of crack cocaine.
Cornell Lawrence, 29, 519 Kinler St., Luling, distribution of crack cocaine.
Davy Stipe Sr., 41, 1832 Paul Maillard Road, Luling, distribution of crack cocaine.
Todd Celestine, 19, 1105 Paul Fredrick St., Luling, distribution of crack cocaine.
Harry Haywood, 22, 239 Boutte Estates, Boutte, distribution of marijuana on public housing authority property.
Donald Barne, 21, 400 Courthouse Lane, Hahnville, distribution of crack cocaine on public housing authority property.
Eddie Hills, 24, 338 Kinler St., Boutte, distribution of crack cocaine.
Wilbert Celestine, 24, 827 Milling Ave., Luling, distribution of crack cocaine.
Matthew Aittama, 20, 123 Devon Road, LaPlace, distribution of marijuana and Valium.
Kevin Ohordorff, 19, 37 Bonura Drive, St. Rose, distribution of marijuana and Zanax.
