Republican group throwing party

LULING – The Republican Women of St. Charles is throwing a right-wing-ding of a party Nov. 4 in the West Bank Bridge Park in Luling. Citizens ofevery political stripe are invited to attend.

The rally, from noon to 3 p.m., will include free soft drinks, hot dogs anddraft beer.

Carnival rides, balloons and a space walk are planned for children, and featured speakers will include Sen. Ken Hollis, Republican State ChairmanPat Brister, Foster advisor Sally Nungesser, former state vice-president of the Republican Women of St. Charles Donna Howe and former Gov. DaveTreen.

Local speakers will include St. Charles Parish Council members DeeAbadie, Clayton “Snookie” Faucheux and Lance Marino.
