FRILOUX
DESTREHAN – Jennie Lee Guillory Troxclair Friloux, 69, a native of Echo and resident of New Sarpy, died Oct. 18. She was the wife by first marriage ofNoah D. Troxclair Jr. and by second marriage of Floyd J. Friloux Sr., motherof Noah III and Richard Troxclair Sr. and stepmother of Anne and Floyd FrilouxJr.
She was also the daughter of Malonie and the late Jessie Guillory and sister of Jeannette Dyer, Gloria “Tootsie” Stracener and John Buddie Guillory.
She is also survived by six grandchildren and one stepgrandchild.
Services are today at 11 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church,Destrehan, with interment at the church mausoleum. Visitation starts at 8a.m.
NORMAND
FRENCH SETTLEMENT – Edna LeBlanc Normand, 71, a native of French Settlement, former resident of New Orleans and resident of LaPlace for three years, died Oct. 15. She was the mother of Judy Flores and FrankNormand Jr.
She was also the sister of R. Gus and Rudy LeBlanc.She is also survived by three grandchildren.
Services were Oct. 18 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, French Settlement,with interment at the church cemetery.
SHEPARD
WESTWEGO – Pauline Shepard, a native of St. James and resident of Luling,died Oct. 16. She was the mother of Welton Johnson.She was also the daughter of the late Malvine Michel and Adam Shepard and sister of the late Stella Jacobs, Emma Marks, Leah Carter and Vilynn and Boon Shepard.
She is also survived by four grandchildren.
Services were Oct. 19 at True Vine Baptist Church, Westwego, withinterment at St. James Catholic Cemetery, St. James.
TRAMONTE
BATON ROUGE – Joseph A. Tramonte Sr., 82, a native of Lutcher and residentof Mesa, Ariz., died Oct. 17. He was the husband of the late Beverly PenoTramonte and father of Debbie Yoches and Joseph Tramonte Jr.
He was also the brother of Sam and August Tramonte.
He is also survived by seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services are today at noon in the chapel of Rabenhorst Funeral Home, Baton Rouge, with interment at Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Visitation begins at10 a.m.
