LAPLACE – The St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking forhelp in finding a 15-year old LaPlace girl who disappeared from her mother’s home Saturday.

The girl, Dominique Roberson, got a pass from the group home to visit her mother for the Thanksgiving holidays, and she was supposed to return to Monroe on Saturday evening. Her mother, Wanda Roberson, had bought a busticket for the girl, but Dominique disappeared from the house on Belle Alliance Drive around 6 p.m.”We know that she is OK,” reported Tregre, “because she has been making phone calls to her friends here in LaPlace.”When she was last seen, Dominique was wearing a gray pullover shirt with the word “Guess” on it, blue jeans, blue tennis shoes and a light brown jacket. Dominique has black hair, brown eyes and is 5-foot-3.Anyone with any information on Dominique’s whereabouts is asked to call the St. John Sheriff’s Office at 652-9513.
