ALL LUTCHERJuanita Hernandez All, 67, a native of Brownsville, Texas, and resident of Lutcher, died July 12. She was the wife of Jake W. All Sr. andthe mother of Susan Madere, Norma McGowan, Melissa Troungo, Angella Jackson and Jake All Jr.
She was the daughter of Maria Linares Hernandez and the late Enrique Hernandez.
She is also survived by three sisters, two brothers, nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two brothers and twosisters.
Graveside services and interment were held July 16 at Mt. Horeb Cemeteryin Meridian, Miss.
ARCENEAUX GRAMERCY Laurence D. Arceneaux, 95, a native of Wallace and a residentof Gramercy, died July 13. She was the wife of the late Henry J. ArceneauxSr. and mother of Cecile Arceneaux, Dolores Hecker, Merle Duhe, CarlinHebert, Floyd Arceneaux, Sister Joan Arceneaux O.P., Jane Poche, Richard Arceneaux Sr., Margaret Gaudin, Cheryl Burns and the late Henry J.Arceneaux Jr.
She was the daughter of the late Lucille Roussel and Anicet Dufresne and sister of Eula Glorioso, the late Aurelie Reynaud, Alba Bossier, Mabel Zeringue and Cecil and George Dufresne.
She is also survived by 28 grandchildren and 44 great-grandchildren.
Services were held July 15 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Gramercy with entombment in St. Joseph Mausoleum, Paulina.CARTER ST. JAMES Louis “Turkey” Carter, 53, a native of St. James Parish andresident of Harvey, died July 9. He was the husband of Louise “Annie Mae”Carter and stepfather to Dedra Ann Spencer.
He was the brother of Maryln P. Carter, Florica Harper, the late IsiahCarter Jr. and Harris Carter.He is also survived by one grandchild.
Services will be held today at noon at the St. Paul Baptist Church,Louisiana Highway 18, St. James Parish, with interment at Burton Lane Cemetery in St. James. Visitation begins at 8 a.m.FAVALORA HOUMA Thomas “Busty” Murphy Favalora Sr., 72, a native of St. Rose andresident of Houma, died July 12. He was the father of Thomas M. Jr., BrentMichael and Steven Thomas Favalora.
He was the son of the late Thomas Simon and Mary Giglio Favalora. He alsowas the brother of Annabel Favalora Gautreaux, the late Rosemary F.
Bouden and Fannie F. Thomson.He is also survived by one grandchild.
He is a retired driver for Southern Pacific Transportation and deputy for Terrebone Sheriff’s Office.
Services were held on July 14 at Borromeo Catholic Church in Destrehan with intenment at St. Charles Borromeo Mausoleum.JONES AMA Charles Edward Jones, 57, a native of Waverly, Calif., and residentof Ama, died July 9. He was the husband of Lenora White Jones and fatherof Rochelle and Erik Jones, Regina Douglas, Tammy Bailey and Tonya Bryant.
He was the son of Marya L. Taylor and the late Will Jones and brother ofMary Beckwith, Toni Carmon and Barbara, Joyce, Will Jr. and Andrew Jones.He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
Services were held July 16 at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Ama,with internment at Providence Cemetery in Metairie.
MILES NEW ORLEANS Rose “Meedo” Zenobia Victor Miles, 87, a native of Norco and resident of New Orleans, died July 12. She was the wife of the lateJimmy Miles Sr. and mother of Jimmy Jr. and Charles Miles Sr., EdnaPearson, Mildred White, Lucille Brown and the late Delores Williams.
She was the sister of Earl Victor, Florence Dennis, the late Herman and Raymond Malone and Donald, Austin and Evelyn Victor.
She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and 34 great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be held today at 10 a.m. at Gideon Christian Fellowship inNew Orleans, with internment at Providence Mermorial Park. Visitationbegins at 9 a.m.PETIT LUTCHER Murphy M. Petit Sr., 62, native and resident of Lutcher, diedJuly 13. He was the father of Murphy Jr., Jo Ann, Carl and Brian Petit.He was the son of Melda and Claude Petit Sr. and brother of Dale, Claude Jr.and Judy Petit, Glenda Accardo, Karen Poirreier, Gerolyn Roussel and the late Raymond and Wayne Petit.
He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
Services were held July 16 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Convent, andinterment was at St. Michael’s Cemetery.ROSIERE MARRERO Lydia Falgout Rosiere, 72, a native of Vacherie and resident of Marrero, died July 14. She was the wife of the late Francis GustaveRosiere Sr. and mother of Linda Distefano, Elaine Laviolette, Francis G.Rosiere Jr., Joseph A. Rosiere Sr. and the late Michael John Rosiere. She was the daughter of the late Marie Gravois Falgoust and Joseph Falgoust and sister of Agnes Lotz, Ethel Bevinetto, Marie Kerutis, the late JoAnn Sherlock and Maurice and Larry Falgoust.
She is also survived by nine grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Services were held July 16 at Our Lady of Catholic Church in Marrero and interment was at Westlawn Memorial Park.
ZERINGUE Joseph M. Zeringue, 75, a native of Westwego and resident of Ama, diedJuly 14.
He was the husband of Socarro Bustamante Zeringue and father of Carmen Sanabria and Gilbert Bustamante. He was the brother of Nelson andLawrence Zeringue, Effie Waguespack and Emma Mae Schexnader.
He is also surived by three grandchildren.
Services were held on July 16 at the Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home Chapel in Metairie with interment at St. Charles Mausoleum in Luling.
