BRADY – RESERVE – Ella Ruth A. Brady, 74, a native and resident of Reserve, diedFeb. 20. She was the wife of Antoine W. Brady and mother of Darlin Brady-Caro and Antoine “Pop-Top” Brady Jr.

She was also the sister of Myrtle Brady and Vivian Wuest.

She is also survived by four grandchildren.

Services were held Feb. 23 at St. Peter Catholic Church, Reserve, withinterment at the church cemetery.

CAMBRE – LAPLACE – Cecile Maurin Cambre, 86, a native and resident of LaPlace, died Feb. 21. She was the wife of the late Alvin “Buzz” Cambre and motherof Kerry “Que” Cambre.

She was also the sister of Marion “Poose” Maurin, Juliette Maquar and the late Henry “Foot” and John Dan “Sam Spade” Maurin Sr.

Services are today at 10 a.m. at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, LaPlace,with interment at St. Peter Cemetery, Reserve. Visitation starts at 8 a.m.

HARDEMAN – METAIRIE – Allen J. “Dutch” Hardeman, 70, a native of New Orleans andresident of LaPlace for two years, died Feb. 19. He was the husband ofJoyce Puderer Hardeman and father of Sandra Albert and Pamela Gomez.

He was also the son of the late James Sr. and Neola LeBlanc Hardeman,brother of Neola Damico and the late James Jr. and Charles Hardeman Sr.and step-brother of Kingston Hardeman.

He is also survived by three grandchildren.

Services were held Feb. 22 in the chapel of Tharp-Sontheimer-TharpFuneral Home, Metairie, with interment at Lake Lawn Mausoleum.

HAYDEL – NORCO – Vera Rousselle Haydel, 61, a native and resident of Norco, died Feb. 19. She was the wife of Shelton J. Haydel and mother of VanessaGraver, Nathan Haydel and the late Stephanie Haydel.

She was also the daughter of the late Adam and Amanda Rousselle and sister of Shirley Gaudin, Loretta Simon and the late Charles Rousselle.

She is also survived by three grandchildren and was preceded in death by one grandchild.

Services were held Feb. 22 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Norco.

JACKSON – ST. JAMES – Clinton “Clint” Jackson, 41, a native and resident of St.James, died Feb. 20. He was the husband of Wanda I. Jackson and father ofLachaundra, Rajinder and Crandell Jackson.

He was also the son of J.D. Hines and the late Sarah Jackson Hines andbrother of Joshua and Jason Hines and Tiffany and Maria Greenup.

He is also survived by one grandchild.

Services are today at 11 a.m. at St. Paul Baptist Church, St. James, withinterment at St. Luke Baptist Cemetery, St. James. Visitation starts at10:30 a.m.

POCHE – PAULINA – Wilmer James Poche, 82, a native of Paulina, former resident of southern California for 28 years and a resident of Oregon for eight years, died Feb. 17. He was the husband of the late Lillian Poche and fatherof Mary Sawyer and Sheila and James Poche.

He was the son of Lotta and Gabriel Poche and brother of Annabel Leithman, Rowena LaCoste and Dorrel Poche.

Services were held Feb. 23 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Paulina.
