ST. ROSE — The body of an unidentified woman was found at approximately 4 p.m. Sunday by the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office.

According to Captain Patrick Yoes, the Sheriff’s Office found the body in a ditch along St. Rose Avenue.

The body of an unidentified black female was located, and the Sheriff’s Office is seeking assistance in identifying her, Yoes said.

The body was approximately 5 feet tall, and the female was wearing thin, pink, hair rollers, according to police.
