Sheriff’s Office Employees Club invites public to levee bike-a-thon fundraiser

RESERVE — Local deputies are biking along the Mississippi River to raise money for the St. JohnSheriff’s Office Employees Club, and they want community members to join them.
The bike-a-thon is planned April 28 and starts at the St. John School Board office on West 10th Street in Reserve.
The path has bikers traveling on the Mississippi River path to the St. Charles Parish line, and then returning along the same route to the School Board office, where it will end.
Jambalaya and other refreshments will be served after the ride.
