LAPLACE – Responding to a phoned-in tip, St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff’s Office led a search Friday morning along a 14-mile stretch of swamp for missing Reserve couple Kenneth and Lakeitha Joseph.

Authorities searched for four hours along Interstate 55 from LaPlace to Manchac for any sign of the couple, reported missing by family members on Feb. 19.

The search, which started at 8:30 a.m., was suspended at 12:30 p.m. Authorities said they found no sign of the couple.
