Photo feature: Emily C. Watkins celebrates top readers

- Students at Emily C. Watkins Elementary in LaPlace recently participated in a Read Across America Poster Contest. Books were given as prizes for 1st and 2nd Place winners. Students had to decorate a poster based on their favorite book. The poster had to be creative and include the title and author of the book.
