LAPLACE – Preventative maintenance is scheduled on March 7 for a Ruddock water well.

All St. John Parish east bank residents and businesses should begin conserving water Friday evening around 6 p.m. until further notice.

Contingencies are in place for this process, but conservation is a critical component to the success of this project.

All LaPlace, Reserve, Garyville and Mount Airy residents and businesses should refrain from non-essential uses of water such as washing clothes, running dishwashers, watering lawns, washing vehicles and all other activities that require using large quantities of water.

Expect water pressure to be approximately 20 pounds below normal. These conditions will remain in place for approximately 48 hours while the work is completed.
