James Donald Trosclair

James Donald Trosclair, born on Sept. 19, 1936, died at the SE LA War Veterans Home on Jan. 12, 2018.
He proudly served our country in the U.S. Army from 1956-1959.
He was 81, a native of Reserve and a resident of LaPlace.
He leaves behind loving wife Carole Troxclair Trosclair of more than 60 years.
Trosclair was the loving father of James Trosclair Jr. (Lisa) of Paulina, Jared Trosclair (Tina) of Norco, John Trosclair (Honey) of Gonzales, Lisa Laiche (Gary) of Gonzales, Amy Tregre (Steven) of Reserve, Tracy Tregre (Glenn) of Albany and Cheryl Marie Trosclair of Garyville; son of the late Emma Gueret Trosclair and Fred Paul Trosclair Sr.; and brother of Leda Mae Steib and the late Eldon Trosclair, Fred Trosclair Jr., Annie Scioneaux and Adam Trosclair.
He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, one great great grandson and many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass was held at Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church in LaPlace on Monday, Jan. 15.
Interment was in St. John Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
