NEW ORLEANS — Next week’s Rock ‘n’ Network event features complimentary admission, food, bowling and, most importantly, invaluable networking experiences for River Region Chamber of Commerce members from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Rock ‘n’ Bowl in New Orleans.
Located at 3016 S. Carrollton Ave., the event is also open to prospective members to showcase what the local chamber has to offer, according to Chassity McComack, of Chamber regional director.
Rock ‘n’ Network is a regional event hosted by nine chambers from around New Orleans. Co-host chambers will have informational tables set up and ambassadors will be present to answer questions, McComack said.
She said this is the first time the River Region Chamber has been invited, and it is an opportunity to build relationships with other business owners over friendly bowling matches.
Networking is essential to sustain a developing business, according to Pattie White, administrator of the River Region Chamber.
“It’s crucial because if people network together in partnership with each other, it facilitates them growing their businesses together,” White said.
She said members exchange information and find ways to benefit each other’s businesses during meetings and community events like Rock ‘n’ Network.
The River Region Chamber of Commerce was established 13 years ago to foster business growth and networking in St. John the Baptist, St. James and St. Charles parishes.
Membership applications and an overview of benefits are available at riverregionchamber.org.
