Ronald J. Descant Sr., 61, died Saturday, March 1, 2014.

He was the beloved husband of Paulette Brignac Descant, father of Heath Brignac (Jodi) and Ronald Descant Jr.( Tanya), grandfather of Gage, Bailey and Brailon, son of Ella Mae Descant and the late Percy Descant and brother of Wayne Descant and Sharleen Ulige.

He was a native of Metairie and a resident of Paulina.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend services. Visitation will be at Millet-Guidry Funeral Home, 2806 W. Airline Highway, LaPlace, on Saturday, March 8, 2014, from from 8 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. followed by Mass in the funeral home chapel at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery in Reserve. The family would like to extend thanks to Canon Hospice.
