On April 28 at 6 p.m., deputies responded to an armed robbery call in the 300 block of Little Hope Street in Garyville.

Upon arrival, the victim told deputies a male subject identified as Norman Duhe shocked him a few times in the face, neck and stomach with a stun gun after he refused to give Duhe money.

At some point during the attack, Duhe removed a sum of money from the victim’s pants pocket, then fled on foot down Little Hope Street toward Louisiana 44.

Deputies canvassed the area, but were unable to locate Duhe.

Emergency medical services transported the victim to a local hospital, where he was treated and released.

Based on investigation, a judicial warrant was issued Monday for Duhe’s arrest.

Duhe turned himself in Thursday and was booked with armed robbery and domestic abuse battery as well as for contempt of court.

He is being held in custody in lieu of $60,169.50.
