Templet’s SJA commitment recognized with Distinguished Service Award

More than 25 years of service and generations of commitment began when Ray Templet Jr. joined the St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church and School family as maintenance manager in 1990.
In addition to the duties in his job description, school leaders said Templet has served as a basketball coach, on several church and school boards and has worked with students in many events.
He put all of his children through St. Joan of Arc Catholic School and currently has two grandchildren attending the LaPlace campus.
“His heart, soul and energies continue to be offered to the church and school,” SJA officials recently said in a release.
All of which led to recently receive SJA Distinguished Service Award.
