Sean Joseph “Larry Joe” Scioneaux died Monday, Feb. 13, 2017, at the age of 52.
Sean was born on Aug. 10, 1964.
He was a native of Reserve and a resident of Sorrento.
Sean was the second child of Lillian Millet Carter (Sonny) and the late Michael Huey Scioneaux.
Sean is survived by his beloved wife. Cherie St. Pierre Scioneaux.
He was the father of Michael Scioneaux (Nicole) and Robbie Scioneaux; stepfather of Mason and Blake Accardo; grandfather of Callie Scioneaux.
He is survived by sister Maria Bleakley (Dwain) and brother Blake Scioneaux; stepbrothers Winn Carter (Shanon) and Steve Carter (Shannon); in-laws Reed and Brenda St. Pierre; and brother- and sister-in-law Shane St. Pierre (Denise) and Brandy Pilgram (Neil).
He is also survived by nieces Morgan Bleakley, Savannah St. Pierre and Tenley Pilgram and nephews Taylor Bleakley and Austin St. Pierre.
Sean served in the United States Air Force.
He was the owner of CNO-Intel Communications.
He enjoyed life with his wife, children and beautiful granddaughter.
Special thanks to the nursing staff at East Jefferson Hospital 6th South and two special care givers, Brenda and Lillian.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Peter Catholic Church, 1550 Highway 44 in Reserve on Thursday, Feb. 16 at noon.
Visitation will begin in church at 9 a.m.
Interment is in St. Peter Cemetery.
