LULING — They have a new name, but members are promising the same joyful sounds.

Louisiana Ovation Vocal Ensemble — formerly Community Chorus of River Parishes — announced community auditions are beginning as members for the 2016 Holiday Season.

The first rehearsal starts at 7 p.m. Thursday at Lakewood Elementary, 501 East Heather Drive in Luling.

Organizers stressed anyone interested in joining the Ensemble is welcome to contact 985-652-0162 or ccrpsings@gmail.com.

The Ensemble’s goal is to bring together voices in harmony for the purpose of promoting cultural enrichment through music.
