LAPLACE — The 43rd Annual Andouille Festival is slated for Oct. 14-16 at the St. John Community Center and Thomas F. Daley Memorial Park in LaPlace. Applications for food, arts, crafts and entertainment vendors are going to be available to the public in the upcoming weeks.

Sponsorship packages are also being offered again this year. As activities and events are finalized, additional information will be released and placed on the Andouille Festival website at andouillefestival.com.

Food, craft, gate and beverage vendors should make note of the following dates:

• Vendor application published June 1

• Vendor application due date: July 1

• Vendor acceptance notification: July 15

Regardless of past participation, all vendors must compete annually for selection. However, previous year vendors are given first consideration.

Organizers said the Andouille Festival is a rich tradition that presents a great opportunity for someone’s message to reach a vast audience of attendees.
