Several students from the St. John the Baptist Parish Public School District placed at the Louisiana Region 10 Science and Engineering Fair at Nicholls State University on Feb. 25.

They were:

Middle School: Jose Folgar, first place, computer science; TyJon Monroe, third place, engineering and mechanics; Ijha Miller and Lizbeth Perez, third place, biomedical and health science.

High School: Alyssa Duhe, first place, medicine; Anthony Cases, second place, chemistry; Cairon Becnel, second place, environmental science; Darryan Horton, second place, medicine and health; Kaylee Caronna, second place, social sciences; Amiya Lumar, third place, plant  sciences, and Leah Brown, third place, physics.
