Photo feature: Blood drive for deputy Arnold

- The St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office held a Blood Drive Feb. 1 at its Headquarters in Luling for Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Deputy Stephen Arnold, who was shot in the line of duty while executing a search warrant with the DEA Task Force in New Orleans. Fifty-six potential donors participated in the Ochsner Blood Drive, resulting in 50 units of blood being donated in Arnold’s name. Sheriff Greg Champagne said it’s heartwarming to see how many people from the Sheriff’s Office and the community came out to show support for Arnold.
