Royal Court leads SCC’s Krewe

LAPLACE — St. Charles Catholic High School announced the Royal Court members of the Krewe de Charles Bal Masque XXX, “Back to the Future.”
The annual carnival ball will be held at 7 p.m. today (Jan. 16) in the school gymnasium. The Carnival Ball at St. Charles Catholic High School is a Mardi Gras tradition for the school and the entire community.
Admission is $10.
The King and Queen are Patrick Ryan Ratliff, son of David and Kelly Ratliff and Madeleine Marie Murphy, daughter of Michael and Giselle Murphy.
Both the King and Queen are active students at St. Charles Catholic High School.
Patrick Ratliff is a member of the football and track teams. Madeleine Murphy is president of the Student Council, vice-president of National Honor Society, president of the French Club and a member of the Science Club, Retreat Team, Mu Alpha Theta and Beta Club.
She is also a member of the volleyball, basketball and track teams.
Both the King and Queen are active leaders in St. Charles Catholic High School’s Fellowship of Christian Athletes and serve as SCC Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion.
Page to the King is Greyson McGovern, daughter of George and Kayla McGovern. Page to the Queen is Khloe Gaudet, daughter of Rusty Gaudet and Samantha Peterson.
Other members of the court are Duke Justin Martin Ory, son of Mark and Jennifer Ory, with Maid Rebecca Lynn Laurent, daughter of Marcel and Stephanie Laurent; Duke Jacob Paul Jensen, son of Paul and Michelle Jensen with Maid Morgan Mary Nobile, daughter of Michael and Nicol Nobile; and Duke John Royce Campbell, Jr., son of John and Susan Campbell, with Maid Alyssa Mary Arceneaux, daughter of Gary and Donna Arceneaux.
The Royal Escorts for the ball are Wesley Melancon and Dustin Mire.
