RESERVE — East St. John Elementary School recently spent the month focusing on careers with three days as career days for kindergarten, first and second grades.
Yasani Nova, kindergarten student at East St. John Elementary, dreams of being a chef when she grows up.
The students took a “campus” field trip, walking around their school with a list of interview questions to learn about the different careers within the school system.
Students interviewed their principal, school nurse, school secretary and master teacher.
Other activities included drawing career posters and pictures of what they want to be when they grow up.
