Mr. and Mrs. James Brouwer of Lutcher are proud to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Kristine, to Austin Thomas, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Thomas of Albany.

The wedding will be solemnized at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ponchatoula on May 9, 2014.

Kristine is employed as an RN at North Oaks Medical Center in Hammond. Austin is employed as a Firefighter and EMT at St. Tammany Fire District 1 in Slidell.

Following a honeymoon trip to Destin FL, the couple will reside in Hammond.
