LAPLACE — Ranney Wilson, St. John the Baptist Parish Councilman for District 2, announced his plans to run for re-election.

With 20 years experience, Wilson said he has the knowledge of the duties of a councilman.

“I will continue to fight for proper water, sewerage, drainage and streets,” Wilson said. “I also will push hard to get our planning and zoning rules to be in the best interest of my district.”

The Historic St. John Parish, Wilson said, cannot live with the zoning rules of north of Highway 61 in LaPlace.

“I ask for your vote so I may continue to work on all the problems in our district,” Wilson said.
